My preceptor, Rylee, has made a huge impact on my learning in the ER by being patient, approachable, and always willing to teach in the moment. She takes time to walk me through her clinical thinking, helps me prioritize patients, and gives honest, constructive feedback that actually helps me improve. Even during busy shifts, she makes sure I’m involved and gaining hands-on experience while still keeping patient safety first. Her support has really helped build my confidence and made the transition into the ER feel much more manageable.
