In a very tense and emotional time, Lori was a light in the dark. As a nurse myself, I know at times it can be trying to be taking care of a patient with substance abuse problems or social issues like being homeless. My father was (had) both. Lori treated him with genuine respect and dignity. As my father left this world, Lori took the time to assure that he was comfortable and cared for. She comforted my sister and me in our time of need and showed us the same respect and care she showed our dad. We cannot put into words the gratefulness we have for Lori. She will forever hold a place in our hearts.
