We appreciate Saara Hutchinson’s teamwork, positive attitude, and attention to patient safety and are proud to have her on our T4 team!
When the first COVID patient arrived on T4 it was uncharted territory for everyone as the virus did not come with directions and pandemics were something we only learned about hypothetically in nursing school. Everyone within the department pulled together quickly and efficiently, providing top-quality care and the team was amazing! There were many nurses who went above and beyond, here is just one story!
This DAISY Nurse has provided hours and hours of care to the Covid patients; caring for 69 positive patients. She spent a significant amount of time at the bedside, ensuring her patients received the best care possible. She is always instrumental in teamwork, even prior to the Covid pandemic. She is one of the most recognized staff on the day shift by peers and patients. She goes above and beyond to help her teammates with every opportunity she can. She’s a great resource and teacher to have on the unit. We appreciate Saara Hutchinson’s teamwork, positive attitude, and attention to patient safety and are proud to have her on our T4 team!
