Although my experience with having Sabi as my father's nurse was short, I greatly appreciate the compassion he had towards my father and my family. He did not ignore any concerns that we had, and if it wasn't for him, I may have known too late to say my final farewells to my father. He ordered a STAT CT and he really did work very hard for it to be done then and there. Within 30 minutes, I got the results. Even though it was not the news that I wanted, I am extremely grateful for his quick and appropriate judgment. He made sure my father was comfortable and that I had no questions left unanswered. Sabi spent less than 24 hours with my dad, but it was the most meaningful time right before my father's passing 3 days later. Once he left the hospital for home hospice, he was no longer able to communicate with anyone else. I am so very grateful to have had Sabi as my father's nurse during his final moments.
