Our daughter, A, arrived at Chandler Regional Hospital ER. At approximately 0500, the triage team immediately wheeled her into a trauma room for further evaluation and assessment. The Trauma Team did a fantastic job with their thorough delivery of emergency care. A was admitted, and in her room, it was here where our family and especially A received an “angel of caregiving.” Nurse Sabrina executed without negligence or omissions a level of customer and patient care that left A in awe. Allow us to describe nurse Sabrina’s substance in patient care. A arrived to her room not knowing what to expect. She was greeted with compassion and a true sense of caring. Nurse Sabrina thoroughly washed and cleansed A as if she was at a day spa. Sabrina even cleaned under A’s nails, washed her face, and put ointment on her abrasions. Sabrina combed A’s hair and put it into braids so her hair would not tangle while lying down. A said, and I quote, “The nurse Sabrina made me feel and look like a queen or princess, not an ogre." A’s healing began at that moment, not only from the outside but from the inside in her mind. A’s revelation was that someone truly cares about her besides her family. Sabrina’s care changed a life.
