Sabrina was caring for an infant in NICU and helping the mother get the baby ready for discharge. It became apparent the mother did not have money to buy the needed medications for the baby to go home. She also noted that the mother had trouble measuring the medications to give the baby. Sabrina went to the pharmacy and paid for the medications out of her own money. She took extra time to mark syringes and work with the mother to make sure the baby received the correct amount of medication and could go home with Mom.
Sabrina does extra things for her families all the time. She is a very thoughtful and compassionate nurse.
