Sade is definitely one of the most profound nurses on our unit. She always displays great leadership skills and always wants to help out her fellow nurses. I've always noticed she spends a lot of her time on the unit, whether it being for overtime or shared governance. She wants to make sure the unit is running smoothly. She has offered to stay numerous times to help out on the floor when the unit is short staffed and/or fellow nurses need to be resourced. She never complains and will do whatever the unit needs because the job needs to get done. She is one of the best nurses to ask when a resource is needed because safety is her top priority when it comes to patient care. Other nurses and I always comment on the amazing job she does every time she is on our unit. Not only is she great at being a team player, but she is stellar at being a bedside nurse. Her patients have the best care when she is their nurse. She displays great care and compassion towards all of her patients and treats them as her own. Parents have also commented on her caring personality and they know their children are safe in her hands. Sade is a great asset to the PCU and we are eternally grateful for having her as our fellow nurse.
