Our Gram was admitted to the CCU. Her condition was serious and she was 98 years old. After spending three days in the CCU, Sadie was Gram's new day nurse. She was honest, caring, and most importantly, worked to explain everything about Gram and her condition to us (and her!).
Sadie took the time to give Gram all the facts about her current condition, to explain what she was facing, and worked with the doctor to have a family meeting. The time she spent with us was amazing. The result was we all understood the reality of the situation and we were able to let Gram go home, which is where she wanted to be.
Sadie was instrumental in providing peace to our Gram. We will forever be thankful.
