Salim was the attending nurse for 2 consecutive days. In those days he met every single DAISY Award criteria, especially on the day my son's tubing was removed. He guided my son step-by-step on the breathing, making sure he was awake and basically taking care of him as if my son was one of his own. Never have I seen a nurse so compassionate funny and loving to his patients as Salim.
