Every time I meet with Sally’s assigned patients during discharge rounds, they all say the same thing “what a great nurse/teacher Sally is.” She takes the extra time with all her patients before they are discharged to ensure they have a clear understanding of how to manage their care at home, understand the purpose/side effects of their meds, and what signs/symptoms to look for. It is obvious she cares about her patients and their health needs. Thank you for all you do

While rounding, the patient recognized all of the nurses who have been caring for her but wanted to especially recognize Sally as she felt Sally was extremely exceptional. Sally was consistently in her room managing her pain, she felt like she was her only patient as was checking on her so frequently and listening closely to all of her needs. Sally is an “Angel”. Someone born to be a nurse.
