Sally came in to wash my foot with Hiba cleanse and to put an IV in. I have severe anxiety and did not take my pills that night or the morning, so I was pretty keyed up. I had been to the lab downstairs in the hospital and they had a girl training. She put a different needle in my arm and then both my hands. Thankfully her teacher took the final jab and got the blood.

My mom hit the curb on our way into the hospital as well and immediately blew her tire and we think bent the tie rod. So, by the time I got to Sally, I was about in meltdown mode. Sally was absolutely amazing! She talked to me and helped me calm down. I was terrified of the IV because of the not-too-long-ago lab issue and I knew she would have to put it in one of my hands that had just been done. They really hurt! She did excellently and I honestly barely felt it. She was compassionate, and kind, and knows her job inside and out. She is an incredible asset to the hospital! If ever need surgery again, I hope she would be my nurse.
