Me acababan de dar un diagnóstico que fue muy inesperado en mi vida, no tenía apoyo emocional, no tenía familiares o alguien en quien pudiera confiar mis sentimientos.
Ese día llegó la enfermera Salma y con toda su alegría se presentó, al momento que entró por la puerta llenó la habitación de luz. Yo me sentía desesperado buscando alguna manera de ya no estar ahí, era una habitación muy deprimente no entraba la luz y no veía la luz del día.
En el transcurso del día llega Salma y me avisa que me van a cambiar de habitación con vista a la fuente una habitación con mucha luz vista al jardín, a mí me encanta que me dé la luz del día y ella sin saberlo logró hacerme sonreír, logró hacerme feliz, con una simple acción que nadie había realizado.
Ella me escuchó durante toda mi estancia, fue amable supo entenderme y siempre me ayudó, gracias a ella logró darme una esperanza y me demostró que todavía hay gente buena en este mundo, ella es un ángel disfrazada de enfermera, por enfermeras como ella mucha gente logra salir adelante como lo hice yo.
Ella me consiguió apoyo psicológico por parte del hospital y eso también fue pieza fundamental para mi pronta recuperación.

I had just received a diagnosis that was completely unexpected. I had no emotional support, no family, no one I could confide in.
That day, Nurse Salma arrived and introduced herself with such joy. The moment she walked through the door, she filled the room with light. I felt desperate, searching for any way to escape. It was a very depressing room; no light came in, and I never saw the daylight.
Later that day, Salma came and told me they were going to move me to a room with a view of the fountain, a room with plenty of light, and a view of the garden. I love having daylight, and without even knowing it, she managed to make me smile, to make me happy, with a simple action that no one else had ever done.
She listened to me throughout my stay. She was kind, she understood me, and she always helped me. Thanks to her, I was given hope, and she showed me that there are still good people in this world. She is an angel disguised as a nurse. Because of nurses like her, many people are able to move forward, just as I did.
She got me psychological support from the hospital, and that was also a key part of my quick recovery.
