Salome Busuulwa, RMN

A memory clinic patient attended clinic and appeared at significant risk of self-neglect, including losing a lot of weight, not having a way to get home, not being able to move her arm due to a fall, etc. Salome demonstrated incredible compassion and competency in her work, making sure that an urgent care referral was put through for this lady, and going above and beyond by talking to this lady, getting her something to eat and drink, and making sure that she had a safe taxi route home. I found her care and generosity always shine through in her work but this was particularly prominent and it was an inspiration in how gently and kindly she spoke to this woman and made her feel heard and cared for.
