I was recently admitted to the Neuro Unit at SVBGH to determine the cause of my mental and visual status changes. My stay was short, but I must say that the care I received was nothing but outstanding! Sam made sure I was comfortable from the moment I arrived until the minute I left. She showed concern and care for my situation, which gave me a sense of ease. She was professional in all of her interactions with me and continually showed me that she enjoyed her work. Throughout her shift, she made sure I was informed about all of the tests that were scheduled. Even though I was a little nervous from time to time, she made me feel comfortable with everything happening. I have been in the hospital several times and she is the absolute best nurse I have had. She even interacted very well with my wife, who is a physician and made sure she was kept up to date and answered all her questions.
