Sam Smith, BSN, RN

Sam deserves this award for a multitude of reasons. Sam included us in every discussion, talk, change of health, and procedure that was happening to our sweet B. He explained everything to us; gave us the options we needed to hear and informed us of possible outcomes in a way that did not scare us but informed us. Sam cared for our sweet B in a way that was warming and more one-on-one. From holding her hand while taking care of her to softly soothing her when she was scared. Without Sam, our daughter’s health plan would not have changed, and she would have not improved.
