Sam's work ethic is the epitome of what you hope to find from an ideal nurse. He is reliable, diligent, ambitious, and dedicated. Anytime Sam is the circulating nurse in the room I know the case is going to go smoothly. Surgeons frequently request him in the OR rooms due to his skillful reputation. He moves swiftly to ensure quick "turn over" times and he upholds patient safety at all times. He is truly an asset to our OR team and our FMC family.
Sam has taken on the task of training several of our new OR nurses and in doing so he has brought them up to par to surgery standards. He has truly outdone himself in that not only is he an exceptional nurse, he has successfully trained many of our nursing staff members. I cannot imagine a nurse more deserving of such a prestigious award.
