Her exceptional dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our organization. Her contributions have had an unparalleled impact on the lives of children's medical teams and patients.
I am writing to enthusiastically nominate our manager, Ms. Zahrani, Samah A, for the DAISY Award in appreciation of her amazing attitude, abilities to lead, inspiration, loyalty, contribution to the advancement of our unit, and exceptional problem-solving talents, as well as knowledge and competence.

Ms. Samah Zahrani is an outstanding candidate for this prestigious award due to her exceptional interpersonal skills, dedication to the well-being of her team and our personal well-being, unwavering support, and genuine compassion. She also excels in patient management and ensures their safety.

In her role as the first manager of the Children Medical Center in Building 552 (a new center at JHAH that was opened in February 2024) at our organization, which contains the specialty and primary care staff, it is a huge challenge for her to control and manage two different departments in a harmony unit. Samah has been a dedicated member of the advanced nurse clinician in pediatric teams. Her positive attitude is inspiring, creating an environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and growth.

Samah has consistently demonstrated exceptional qualities that set her apart as an exemplary manager and leader in order to achieve JHAH's mission and vision in alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

She approaches each challenge with confidence, inspiring those around her to strive for excellence. Furthermore, Samah has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, successfully guiding her team at the Children's Medical Center to success.
From a managerial perspective, Samah is implementing the open-door policy, which encourages team members to approach her as the children's medical center supervisor with any problems or worries they may have. She is also fostering an environment of open discourse, transparency, and trust in the workplace while addressing the pediatric team as one cohesive whole.

She inspires and motivates her team members to do their best while creating a collaborative and supportive work environment. Her ability to lead our team with vision and dedication has been the driving force behind our success, culminating in the incredible achievement of receiving the first DAISY Nurse Leader Award at the JHAH Medical Children's Center.

Furthermore, Samah has made significant contributions to the overall improvement of the unit. She is constantly looking for ways to improve processes and implement innovative strategies that improve efficiency and care quality. Her advanced approach has resulted in measurable improvements in patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and overall performance.

Moreover, Samah demonstrates outstanding self-skill in handling problems at work. Her approach to problem-solving is not only efficient but also considerate. She handles difficulties with composure, coming up with solutions that not only deal with the immediate problem but also provide a framework for future problem-solving. She consistently strives for excellence and exhibits a wide range of knowledge, interest, and expertise in her field. Her resolute dedication to remaining current, knowledgeable, and offering us the best advice and information is genuinely admirable.

Samah's deep concern for her team's well-being is evident in her willingness to navigate social issues and provide assistance.

Unforgettable situation: A member of Samah's staff was diagnosed with blood cancer and was exhibiting symptoms like palpitations, chest pain, dizziness, and shortness of breath. A sharp decline in hemoglobin levels necessitated blood transfusions for the nurse.

Samah persistently checked that nurse and questioned about his condition, speaking in effective, touchable, and soothing terms with her. She treated her with tremendous respect and patience, answering all of her questions.

She believes that this group should function like a family. She ensures that we gather for breakfast, particularly during the unit meeting, to celebrate birthdays and graduations and to support one another when necessary.

In conclusion, Samah demonstrates the exceptional qualities that make her an excellent candidate for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Her exceptional dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our organization. Her contributions have had an unparalleled impact on the lives of children's medical teams and patients.

We are grateful for having her as our manager and extend our heartfelt appreciation for everything she does.
