My mother had a watchman procedure and Samantha was assigned to her. My mom is incredibly anxious and can be extremely difficult. This nurse was incredibly patient and made my mom feel very comfortable. Even though my mom was a little confused at times and kept asking the same questions, this nurse was always willing to listen and answer my mom's questions, even though she may have already answered them a tie or two before. She was always extremely pleasant and attentive even though she was extremely busy because of the other patients on the floor.

Not only did Samantha take care of my mom, but she also wanted to make sure my questions and needs were addressed as well. As a family member, you want to be sure your loved one is going to be treated well when not in your care. After watching her with my mom for several hours, I was not at all nervous about leaving my mom in her capable hands. I was extremely impressed as well as grateful for the level of patience and attention my mother was shown by this nurse. Therefore, I wanted to make someone aware that she has an amazing gift and she is truly a blessing because we are always quick to point out individuals' shortcomings but oftentimes fail to recognize when they exceed your expectations.
