Samantha, an RN in EC, was recognized by a coworker. She has never seen another nurse advocate for a patient like Sam. She had a patient who was in an unsafe situation at home and had slipped through the cracks. Sam worked up the chain of command to make sure this patient stayed safe and got the help she deserved. It was truly amazing to watch her compassion and advocacy shine to benefit the safety of a patient.
