... my husband brought me in because I was having what turned out to be contractions and after being examined I had to be admitted due to dilation. I am a first time mother who after 3 years trying is now pregnant and at 6 months I was in labor. I held it together for my husband but on the inside I was terrified. Samantha was my rock from the time I arrived until I actually delivered my baby boy. Throughout everything, I sent my husband home to get clothes since we thought we would be there a while. While he was gone my water broke and I was the most scared I had ever been in my life. Samantha was comforting and yet didn't baby me, she stayed right by my side and I never felt like she didn't care or was just going through the motions. Instead of a nurse, she was like my best friend and the only one I had there to help me through the process.
