July 2017 Honoree
samantha doffing, RN, BSN
I am 31 weeks pregnant and high risk which requires me to have frequent monitoring. While on my route, my blood pressure dropped causing me to pass out. While taking care of a full unit of patients, Sammy caught me and took me into an empty room. She took my blood pressure, blood sugar, gave me juice, and provided cold, wet towels for my head. I have never had someone so concerned about me. She offered to call my family and manager so I could go home and rest. She was thorough with making sure I was cared for and I can't thank her enough. She has always greeted me with a smile and always engaged in conversation when she sees me. Sammy went above and beyond when I was in need. Sammy is my co-worker and continues to check up on me. Thank you, Sammy, for your extraordinary care!
Thank you, Samantha, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
