Sam's passion for recognizing the amazing care our DAISY recipient's give every day is a pure joy. JOY is one of Essentia Health's core values. Sam works diligently to make sure that every DAISY presentation is filled with JOY for each recipient. She involves not only the nursing staff and administration, but also the nominator, and family and friends of the recipient. During every ceremony you can just see the amount of JOY that this brings to her as it shows all over her face. Sam is such a worthy recipient of the DAISY Nurse Champion as she portrays Essentia Health's mission and values everyday, which align perfectly with DAISY's "Inspirational" program.
