Our dad was a cancer patient at Marshfield Medical Center when he passed away. During his month-long hospital stay, our dad endured an unimaginable amount of pain and suffering. On behalf of our entire family, we want to recognize and thank Sam for the special care that she gave to our dad. He brightened up every time Sam was in the room, and he truly enjoyed her presence. He kept asking us to go get Sam while he was in ICU, and it meant a lot to him and all of us that she took time out of her busy day to visit him and make him smile. The entire nursing team gave our dad a great amount of care and showed a lot of compassion that we all appreciate so much, and Sam was especially kind to him. Thank you Sam for treating our dad with such love and empathy. You really made a difference. Whether it’s Alaska or somewhere else after Marshfield, the next hospital will be lucky to have Sam.
