Samantha Groseclose, RN

Samantha was very attentive and caring during my stay at MU. She truly listened to me and answered any questions I or my family had. When she did my first blood draw, I told her that I couldn’t stand the sight of blood, her calm soothing voice brought comfort and kept my mind off of the procedure. She was very clean and changed her gloves often, keeping things quite sanitary. One night I mentioned I couldn’t sleep comfortably so she brought me extra pillows to see if it would help. It did! When I started to feel really sad one night (because I was very weak and unsure about my recovery) she stayed and talked to me. She said if I ever needed to talk, to page her and she would be there for me. I believe Samantha is an excellent candidate for a DAISY Award. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in everything she does!
