Samantha was a natural caregiver. Always friendly and caring toward our mother with a charm that made the special demands made upon her seem effortless to handle. Knowing that she wouldn’t see our mother again she even hugged and kissed her , told her how special she was, wished her luck in her recovery, then introduced Mom to her new nurse. Our mother developed a real special affinity to Samantha, which we can only assume is felt by most of her patients. When our family thinks of the ideal nurse, we will always think of Sam.
