I had a great conversation with Sam before and after my colonoscopy. I shared my fears/anxieties and some personal history around what led to some of my stomach distress. She was so kind and gentle and wise. She said, "Sounds like it's time to focus on taking care of you." Followed with "I'm going to give you a hug before you leave." Her kindness brought tears to my eyes. I felt the presence of God in the room. She definitely gave me a hug and had a profound impact on me. What a great nurse and a great team!
