Samantha Hickey, RN

As a nursing student and soon-to-be new graduate nurse, it’s hard to find a nurse who is truly willing to teach. Samantha has been patient with teaching and assisting me throughout my clinical experience. She has a world of knowledge and experience that she is always willing to pass along to others. Samantha goes above and beyond for all of her patients, whether it is making sure that meal trays arrive on time, to finding juice and popsicles for her pediatric patients. She listens to each patient carefully and explains their current healthcare issues and process. I have been to many different clinical sites and students aren’t always made to feel welcome. Samantha makes sure that every student is welcomed and feels comfortable asking questions when they are unsure about something. Samantha has helped me greatly in becoming a nurse.
