Samantha is one of the most incredible, caring, and kind people I have ever come across in healthcare. Three years ago when I had my son, she advocated for me through my tumultuous labor and stayed an extra three hours holding our hands until I went in for my C-section, even though her vacation was supposed to start at 7 pm that evening.

This weekend I was on labor and delivery again for my second baby to be monitored during a health issue. Samantha came running right to my side, offering help, advocacy, and a hand to hold. Samantha kept me comfortable, made sure my needs were met, and that my voice was heard in all health preferences. After any doctor/surgeon spoke with me, Samantha made sure she was aware of everything they said and helped talk through it with me, weighing all options and situations and helping explain everything to my husband.

This nurse is one of a kind. My husband and I truly believe our son wouldn't be alive today if Samantha hadn't advocated for me 3 years ago and repeatedly informed the OB team that I needed an urgent C-section. She is our little angel who kept our firstborn safe and made sure our secondborn is safe during this pregnancy.
