Every time I see Sam at work, she is working hard to prioritize the care she gives patients. As a charge nurse, she is fair, helpful and always willing to aid us as a leader. There was one night when she was charge nurse and I had a patient's family member express some frustrations regarding care. Sam immediately was there to support me as a nurse in reconciliation and in how to move forward in providing care to this family. She is thoughtful, caring, attentive and above all a team player. She is involved in the unit and it is very apparent that she cares a lot about this patient population.
