Sam cared for my 94-year-old father - and our family - in the most comprehensive way. She demonstrated knowledge, skill, kindness, compassion, integrity, and the utmost professionalism in the face of a difficult and challenging time in our life. Sam SAW the person in the hospital bed (not the condition); she listened with understanding and respect and then intervened on our behalf to ensure that my father's wishes were fulfilled. Sam gave my father dignity at a very vulnerable time. I am grateful for her training and her sensitive approach to caring for others.

Our father was admitted for a low heart via their ER from his assisted living facility. Initially, we considered a pacemaker, but it became clear that the risks outweighed the benefits. Sam was incredibly attentive to his needs and ours despite some incredibly frustrating obstacles from other staff. She is compassionate, professional, available, and keeps patient care as her focus. She is repeatedly and consistently someone we could count on 100%!
