I have a lot to say about Sam. First, she is so thoughtful, always giving exactly what I needed. She was highly professional and made sure she covered everything before leaving my room. Sam is very clean; she cleaned up my room and after the other nurses.
The most important difference Sam made was in saving my life! She literally helped me go through the hardest time of my life! Sam reassured me that I would not die - holding my hand every step of the way. When I was terrified to go to sleep, she made me feel comfortable enough to close my eyes. Sam was my comfort in the storm. I am forever grateful for her service and the many ways she helped me. I wish I could give her more than a "thank you". She is an amazing person, and I am honored she was by my side that night.
