Samantha Lynchard, RN

Samantha is an amazing nurse, and I am so grateful she's been part of my husband's care team. She is kind, helpful, hardworking, and has a great sense of humor. Her positive outlook and willingness to help out wherever needed have made a difficult and scary time much more bearable. My husband and I always looked forward to her visits. Our favorite memory was "Spa Day". My husband desperately wanted a shower to freshen up, but they are not allowed in his unit. Instead, she helped us have what she called "Spa Day". She helped him into a chair in the bathroom and prepared towels and basins of warm water so he could get his hair washed, bathed, and shaved, which really improved his day and helped him feel more like himself. She even stopped by to help with a spa day when he was not one of her main patients. She made us both feel special, and I hope everyone who comes to this unit is lucky enough to have her on their care team!

Samantha is great. Whenever I needed something, I could ask her, and within 5 minutes she brought it to me. She has the sweetest personality and is never in a bad mood. I didn't have anything when I got admitted, and there was no deodorant on the floor. She went to the gift shop on her break and got me deodorant, a razor, and shave cream, and wouldn't let me pay her back. I love coffee, and she made sure I had a cup of coffee every 1-2 hours. She is just awesome.
