I believe all the staff went above and beyond the usual measures while caring for my stepdad. I would love to see all of them recognized for a job well-done. However, Sam went a step further, showing compassion for my stepfather and our family, even after his death. I wanted to make sure she is recognized not only for being an extraordinary nurse, but also a wonderful human being as well. She should be used as an example that all nurses should strive to be. EMRMC is a great hospital and will continue to thrive with nurses like Sam looking after your patients and their families.
