Samantha is a kindhearted soul, who always comes to work with a smile on her face and ready to work. No task is too small for Samantha. She demonstrates quality care to patients, families and staff members.

Samantha received a patient post procedure who developed a pneumothorax while being transported to our unit, she contacted the MD and rushed the patient back to OR without delay for Chest tube insertion. She remained calm and engaged the family in a way that did not alarm them. The patient returned to our unit in a stable condition and so grateful for the care she received from Sam. She referred to her as her angel.

Samantha always exhibits herself in a calm manner in emergency situations, is a very strong asset to our floor, and is one of the kindest nurses I know. She constantly reaches out to other staff members to provide consultation and engage in the lives of her co-workers. She is someone who really enjoys what she does and really touches the lives of the people she cares for. Top notch RN one of Advocate's best.

Sam is all around an amazing person, nurse, and co worker. She is one of the most compassionate nurses I've worked with. She is always eager to lend a hand, help anyone out and she maintains a positive attitude no matter how difficult some days are. Her bedside manner is incredible and professional.
