It was not just the care but Sam's touch and the manner to which she spoke to my father that conveyed just how much she cared.
My father was a patient of Nurse Sam (as she is affectionately known) on the 8th Floor. Due to the relaxation of the COVID-19 virus visitation privileges, I was allowed to visit my father in his room.
Sam provided some of the most compassionate care to my father as she attended to his every need. It was not just the care but her touch and the manner to which she spoke to my father that conveyed just how much she cared. Nurse Naber also provided valuable information on my father's condition and explained in great detail every aspect of his care. Although my father succumbed to his ailments, my family and I are eternally thankful for the compassion and professionalism of Sam and the entire Acute Care staff.

During my recent visit to the hospital, I was assigned as a patient of Ms. Samantha Nader. Ms. Nader was heaven sent during my visit. Ms. Nader provided loving and attentive care. She took the time to ensure that I was comfortable along with assisting others with their duties during a shortage of staff. She went the extra mile to ensure the room was clean, she assisted my wife in preparing my shower and cleaned the room, made the bed with clean linen that she went the extra mile to obtain. She walked the hospital searching for a spray solution for the room.
During my time of stay, I did not have to call for the nurse as she served with pride and honor. Ms. Nader exhibited compassion as well as a passion for her work. She was a comfort to talk to and she shared that she wanted to treat her patients like family and give the care that she would want for them.
Ms. Samantha Nader, please take a bow for a job well done! You're an example of great nursing and you're kindness will never be forgotten.
