My family cannot express how deeply grateful we are for the level of care and attention Samantha Paradis provided us with while my grandmother spent her final days in WCGH Hospice wing. Samantha sat with us and listened to our ramblings. She took the time to explain end of life medications and the slightest changes that we observed in Grammie along the way. At 6:00 am on our second day of Hospice when the sun was coming up we spoke about how much Grammie loved the sunrise and ocean views. Samantha then helped us move her bed into the family hospice lounge so we could share the views with her. This meant so much to us. We found comfort and peace not everyone finds in times of loss. We all feel that this was made possible because of the support Samantha gave us. Her warm heart made us feel like we were her only patients. We could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate person to not only take care of our grandmother and mother. Thank you, Samantha, for being our nurse.
