My Dad had open heart surgery, and although we knew it was a scary surgery, we didn't realize how anxious we would continue to be following the surgery. Sam was our ICU nurse for the first few days following surgery, and she was such a blessing! We had so many questions about what she was doing, and she was happy to answer all of our questions with a smile. Sam would take her time to explain things, and she was patient with us when we asked her to explain something again. I know she had to be exhausted due to the nature of her job, but she was always so pleasant and smiling! Sam was also great company for my dad - listening to his life stories while she worked on him and telling us some of her life story! Marshfield Weston is lucky to have her on their team, and the patients assigned to her are even luckier!
