Nomination #1:
It’s hard for me to “reward” people for being good at their job. They’re supposed to be, right? However, when someone is exceptional, recognition is not only warranted but justified. Not only was Samantha's clinical expertise spot on, but so was the compassion and care for my grandson and us (his family). Samantha made an extremely difficult situation a little more bearable with nothing to do but watch numbers on a machine for days. Samantha was the voice of confidence and reassurance that it would be all right. Their commitment to their patient(s) (him and us) was nothing short of a Godsend. Samantha was a very bright light in a very dark and desperate place. Thank you for the opportunity to publicly acknowledge this nurse. They will not be forgotten.

I’m writing this for my 6-year-old. She had tonsil surgery here, and Samantha was great. They went above and beyond to help us and made us feel comfortable.
