My son had open heart surgery and Sam was his nurse in the ICU for two days. She was so gentle with him. She would talk to him, caress his little forehead to put him to sleep and calm him down. She took the time to explain all the information we needed as clearly as possible. I had a lot of questions and she never seemed to be bothered by them. As a mom, felt calm knowing she was there for him whenever we had to step out for a bite. She has a very calming, soothing way about her. Our family that stopped by to visit who got to meet her all said the same thing to me, "his nurse is so nice to him". It only confirmed it.
