Samantha Travis, RN, BSN, OCN

Samantha Travis, RN, BSN, OCN was recently nominated by her co-workers for the compassion and additional help that she provided to the widow of a Seton Cancer Institute patient that had recently passed away. When Samantha learned of the hardships that the widow was facing, she reached out to various area agencies to find help with funeral expenses, utilities, meals on wheels, and other services that would benefit the widow, who does not have any children, does not drive, and lives on very limited resources. This is just an example of how generous and compassionate Samantha is. She never hesitates to reach out when she sees that there is a need.
