I have known Samantha since she was a Student training on the ward and she is now a deputy sister in Children's Daycare Oncology on E38. The reason I would like to nominate her is that I have watched Sam blossom and develop into a lovely caring Nurse, co-worker, and sister. She greets every member of staff with the same enthusiasm, respect, and kindness. She looks after a busy area whilst providing outstanding care to the children, as well as supporting the parents. She has helped in so many ways to build a caring and warm environment where she welcomes everyone with a smile that reaches her eyes. You won't leave our Daycare without sharing a laugh or a giggle with Sam, whether you're a patient, parent, or member of staff. I have watched her handle tricky situations in a calm and controlled manner whilst reassuring and supporting the individual. I am so very proud to be working with Sam and would love for her to be recognised for how amazing she is. The main thing with Sam, is that she does it all without having to be asked!!!
