Sammy is a seasoned nurse and an outstanding nurse leader for the Gage Center. Sammy serves as a resource for the nursing department and for other disciplines throughout the hospital. Sammy is a genuine person who works hard for the people he serves. Sammy strives to make a positive difference in the lives of patients, and he also strives to make the Gage Center a positive workplace for staff. Sammy is a resourceful leader and always knows how to get the work done. Sammy is well-liked and respected by staff and he has done an excellent job building trust and rapport with others. Sammy strives to build relationships and it is important to him that others like him and trust him. It is also important to Sammy that he does a good job. Sammy is very humble, but he always gives 100% to his work. Sammy is also very solution oriented and positive in his approaches to problem solving. Sammy is also not afraid to admit when he’s made a mistake. I can’t say enough good things about Sammy, and I appreciate his dedication to nursing, WSH, and our staff and patients in Gage. We are fortunate to have him as part of the department as a nurse and nurse leader.
