I was discharged at 5pm on a Friday and the doctor was supposed to send medication to Walgreens for me. I called Walgreens at 6pm and they did not have the medication in the pharmacy. I called the Case Mangers at the hospital twice with no answer, and then out of desperation I ended up talking with Sam at the nurse’s station. Sam called the doctor at home, and she called Walgreens to change the order so I could get through the weekend. Sam called me and told me what was happening. I got to Walgreens just in time before they closed, and Sam called me again to follow up and make sure that I got the medication. He is a DAISY nurse for sure, and the best Waterman employee in my opinion!
