San Mao was the best nurse. She is a perfectionist, never cuts corners or follow through and takes the time to listen and understand my complicated symptoms. She is a well-regarded nurse on this floor. She gave me hope I had not felt in a long time. She is compassionate and knowledgeable and educates patients in the most amazing way. She reminded me to slow down in my own profession interacting with clients. I will never forget the great care and impact she made. In times of crises, having nurses who see you as a person and treat you with dignity and honor can actually change the trajectory of one's experience post?hospital. She did that for me.
