I would like to recognize nurse Sandip Pillalamarri. I was a COVID patient at Redlands Community Hospital. What makes Sandie special is that she recognized my situation immediately. On her first bedside visit, right away she knew I was stressed. Sandie asked if there were any medical discomfort and if there was anything she could do. I talked about my frustrations, and she quickly cleared the furniture and equipment that was making me feel claustrophobic. Sandie made the situation much better.
Sandie really cares about her patients. Once I settled in my final room, Sandie was my nurse again. She let me know what to expect. Sandie made sure I was comfortable. She wanted to see me leave on my discharge date but it was her day off. I am thankful that Sandie was my nurse.
