Sandor had a patient in the ED who presented with difficulty breathing. Sandor expressed his concern to the physician who assessed the patient and ordered the labs/tests accordingly. All results were not critical. Sandor again expressed his concerns about her breathing status. Physician reassessed patient whose vitals were still stable, but slightly changing. The patient was admitted to our hospital. Sandor once again expressed his concern and stated he thought the patient was going to deteriorate. The patient was then moved to Trauma Bay where doctors quickly placed a central line and intubated the patient. Quickly after, the patient coded and with only one round of CPR, the patient had a return of spontaneous circulation. I believe it was the determined actions of Sandor that saved this patient's life.
