I met this nurse the morning after I delivered. It was a very long and difficult delivery. Even though I am a physician, she saw me for who I really was, a scared, clueless first time mom. She spent so much time giving me wonderful advice on breast feeding, and care and prevention of future breastfeeding and postpartum issues that I know will be vital not for this time in my life, but in my future children as well.
