I took a very bad fall and ended up being at Good Shepherd for 12 days. Sandra was my nurse for my first 3 nights and I was scared, in pain, and depressed.
Sandra was so comforting. She spent time with me, she just didn't run in and out. In the middle of the night when my pain was at its worst, Sandra made sure that I was comfortable. In the mornings before she left, she would make sure to come in to say goodbye.
One day my nurse told me that Sandra had come by when her shift was over to visit. Unfortunately, I was sleeping. On that day I was discharged and I got a wonderful surprise. Sandra came in to say goodbye. We talked for a while during that time and she gave me encouragement.
