Sandra made us feel at ease immediately with her kind confidence that comes from being organized and competent. She cared for both of us as though we were family. No question was left unanswered, and no request was delayed. She knew J's case was serious and his 19-year history complicated. She innately understood the severity of J's situation and diagnosis. She anticipated our anxiety and calmly reassured us as we navigated the choices we needed to make regarding his tests and plan of care.

Despite being a DNR at the possible end of a very long journey, she gave us the information we needed/results of tests without pressure as we navigated the situation. She never seemed bothered by our many questions. Her compassion and care and respect for us are unparalleled in our experiences to date.
