Sandra was off duty and came in to bring a cake for a co-worker who was leaving. The ER was extremely busy with all rooms full and they had just received a patient in Cardiac Arrest from EMS. Sandra assessed what was going on, ran over to our surgery department put on a pair of surgery scrubs and came back to the ER. She immediately jumped into action helping out in the code where they were successful in the resuscitation of the patient. Sandra could have easily dropped off the cake and left instead she jumped into action to help care for the patient and to help out her co-workers. Sandra is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. We are so lucky to have her as part of the St. John Owasso family.
